All entries will be viewed on-screen by the judges.
The Swift Art Award is open to all Artists, with no restrictions.
Each artist may submit unlimited artworks.
Artworks may have been previously exhibited.
Artworks may have been completed at any time.
Artworks must be of a non-digital, physical nature, created by hand or machine, including Painting, Drawing, Sculpture,
Environmental / Land Art, Printmaking.
No responsibility is accepted for late, or misdirected entries.
To give artists further exposure, all Finalist works will be displayed in one location at www.swiftartapp.com. Entrants acknowledge and agree that the promoter is not liable to pay the Finalist artists any fee, royalty or other form of remuneration for this right.
Artists whose works have been chosen as Semi-finalists will be notified by Instagram message of their success by Monday 17th October 2016.
Works must be clearly registered with the following information: artist’s name; artist’s instagram handle; artist’s country of origin; title; medium used; date of completion.
The selection of the submitted artworks will be made by an international panel.
From the Semi-finalists the judges will select up to 10 Finalists.
From the Finalist works the judges will decide on the First Prize Winner of AUD$100, to be announced publicly at www.swiftartapp.com on Sunday 16th October (UTC) .
From the Finalist works the judges will use activity data to decide on the People’s Choice Winner of AUD$50, to be announced publicly at www.swiftartapp.com on Sunday 16th October (UTC) .
The artist warrants that the work submitted is their original work and does not infringe the copyright, moral rights or other rights of any third party, and that he or she owns the work and all rights and interests in the work submitted.
The artist will indemnify and keep indemnified the promoterSam Williams ABN: 54975429138 against any claim by a third party in relation to the work.
The organisers of the competition reserve the right to declare ineligible any work that does not conform to their interpretation of the terms of the Conditions of Entry. The promoter and the judges have absolute discretion in determining the eligibility of an entry and no appeal or correspondence will be entered into.
Employees and relatives of the promoter of the competition are ineligible to enter.
